December 9th: Decorate the house
I dragged my cute husband away from the TV and made him help me decorate the house. He wasn't really feelin' the whole "decorating" ordeal, but because it was one of our "dates" he jumped right into helping!

Our collection of Christmas decor will forever be a work in progress, but for newlyweds I think we did okay :)
December 10th & 11th: Decorate the tree
Growing up I always remember this being a tedious thing. You get all of the boxes down from the attic, unwrap all of the ornaments from the tissue paper, take out the strings and strings of lights that are all tangled together and then you FINALLY get to the fun part of decorating the tree. This year was an exception because we didn't have any of our decor in the attic. One, because we don't have an attic, and two we didn't have any decor to store. We pulled everything out of their box. The ornaments were so new and had their own little spot in the box, and the lights were wrapped perfectly that we each took one end of the strand and waa-la, done!
It's all about the team work ;) Such a good little helper
